  2. Yall are dead on about Sang-Woo. I was so mad at how he treated Ali. It's not that I didn't understand why he did it – he wanted to live, too and was smart and technically played by the rules – but he didn't even stay and face him or at least be with him. It just shows even more the difference in character/morals of Sang-Woo vs Gi-Hun.

  3. If it helps you with your decision or makes you feel differently about your decision your organs are removed whether youโ€™re an organ donor or not from your body and they are either discarded and thrown away or donated

  4. After death the only thing that would be wise to have preserved would be your brain. Essentially everything else can be remade by scientists in the future. But your brain is unique and can never be recreated, even if they obtained your DNA and used it to form a brain.

  5. lol. It's ok. My mom was telling me not to be organ donor cause she thinks they'd chop me off without even trying to revive me at the hospital. People got their reasons, it's their body, can't finger point over it when it doesn't hurt others, y'know? Donating organ is to help, yeah, but not doing it isn't actively hurting others.

  6. all iโ€™m saying is the rules never said u need 20 marbles it said u needed your partners 10 they couldโ€™ve just swapped ( we know the allow cheating/workarounds sooo )

  7. Honestly we can't blame anyone here. Yeah, some are shady as fuck, but they all willingly agreed to come back(be it under stress and manipulation). Nobody WANTS to die. Everyone will do whatever they can to survive even if its shady to normal people. Us normal people aren't fighting for our life. The girls and few others are the exception. If they honestly have nothing to live for AND have the same kindness and sympathy as Ali does, they would be willing to go out. They've got nothing anyways, so if they care about someone else in the game then a sacrifice is alright for them. Can't blame anyone for wanting to get out of this alive though. Money is honestly the last thing on anyone's mind when its life or death.

Ali is also at fault for being too kind. Yes, its great asf to be kind and trusting. Not when you're fighting for your life. You need to know when to be neutral and embrace your primal instincts. Self preservation should be your top priority. Altruism helps us as a SPECIES. Not as INDIVIDUALS.

  8. About Sang-woo's logic that the games demanded either strength or brains, I have to say the sweets game could possibly be easier for people with well-developed fine mechanic/motor skills, like women with small and steady hands.

  9. I think a lot of people misinterpret why Ali was asking what even and odd are. I'm guessing he just didn't know the korean words for even and odd. Even if you put aside how unlikely it is for an adult to not know what even and odd are, there's NO WAY someone who doesn't have the concepts of even and odd would be able to learn them in 5 seconds.

  11. I donโ€™t think itโ€™s that the old man just wanted to play. I think he understood the rules and just didnโ€™t want to kill his ganbu thatโ€™s why he was running. He had multiple chances where he could have won so that rules out his own self interest, and we know he remembers that. It was more of a test to see what gi-yun would do. And he failed. The OG is a boss imo.

  12. Enjoyed the reaction(s). I spotted that straight away the phone being put down the wrong way around. Cho Sang-woo betrayed Ali badly, made us so upset watching it and the young girl who lost on purpose then the old boy – what a contrast to the last episode "tug of war" when they all came together as one, a team.๐Ÿ˜ญ

  13. Sang-woo aint shit. Not just for this, or for not helping his friends during the earlier games, but for what he does in the end of the 8th episode. He has no honor, a conscious or a soul. Do not compare him to Gi-Hun, Gi has a heart, who was just down on his luck. They are not the same.

  14. I agree with you guys about Sang-woo, he is a coward at heart and very selfish.. I feel he avoided being paired up with Gi-hun because Gi-hun held him to such high regards and Sang-woo knew he did not deserve it. He wanted Gi-hun gone early so he could show his true colors and survive until the end. Gi-hun was not better in this episode, but he did not even think about cheating until Il-nam started having his episodes (Iโ€™m still very convinced he was faking that episode to trick Gi-hun and give him a chance).

  15. Yo!! Iโ€™ve watched Squid Game a couple of times now, absolutely loved the series. Out of all the reaction vids, this was the best! Loved both of your commentaries and how you vibe off each other. You gained a new sub.

  16. (sorry for my English) About Ali… maybe you notice that Ali call Sang-Woo "hyun". In Korea "hyun" means "older brother", but feels different. If you let to a stranger to call you "hyun", it means that you let him consider yourself his older brother. It's an honor. That's why Ali so honored, when Sang-Woo tell him to call him "hyun". And when Sang-Woo betrayes Ali, it's feels like your big brother betrays you. That's why Ali's death was more tragic T_T

  17. For this marble game, what if one partner (lets call him player A) takes their partner's (player B) ten marbles and then player B takes A's ten marbles? That sort of saying that they have their partner's marbles. The rule only says that to win this game is to get all of your partner's marbles.

  18. for me the most relatable and understandable was gihun, he lied to the old man because he was desperate and wanted to stay alive but you can see his guilt and shame as he does it, the old man played with him knowingly too

the friendship these two had for 4 days was stronger than sangwoo's and gihun's years of friendship… i cried so hard when they said their goodbyes ใ… ใ…
