  1. We missed the self conscious overly meta-dialogue stand around and look cool while we figure out a story/plot and always refer to the avengers because we don’t really have our own story vibes? No, we caught it. But first, we’ll catch YOUR first in line takes and no we won’t miss the end credits. I guess we’ll check it out sometime when it decides to have its own story, and not just ride on endgame coattails and try to appropriate taglines and skip ahead to its own unearned “endgame” style poster while “watching over humanity” If they could care less as in-story m characters, why should we be invested in their characters and story? Do they even have a journey? Or they just gonna chill and reference endgame throughout?

  2. Humans complaining about the Eternals not interfering is like a deadbeat yelling at their sober friends for letting them become a drug addict. You created the problem, take responsibility

  3. Spoiler for "What If":

I wonder if Strange supreme was able to tap into cosmic energy to create the armor in the finale. Or maybe I'm being wishful and looking for connections.

  4. How stupid/pointless is it to have a superhero disease that all you need to do is kill someone and have them come back with zero consequences at all. Marvels getting bad lmao

  5. Sorry but black widow, Shang chi and eternals all have a similar thing to me that really makes me not care about these movies. Marvel phases always have a greater theme and phase 4s is clearly the multiverse. So far 3 of the 4 tv shows have been related to multiversal shit whereas these 3 movies feel like they have nothing to do with that. Probably should’ve been in a middle phase because it just makes it feel a bit disconnected to me. They feel pretty basic for phase 4 movies

  6. I'm looking forward to the visuals, which looked fantastic on the big screen previews I saw before ShangChi… But the story isn't drawing me in, especially since we spent 10 years building up to End Game and everything else seems to pale in comparison

  7. Making the Eternals the source of mutants in the MCU is a bad idea IMO. I know its been a retcon in more recent (last 10 years or so) comics but the entire mutant allegory works best as merely an evolution of humanity, no abundant cosmic manipulation or any otherworldly or multiverse shenanigans needed.
